June 2nd 2010 - AECOM is pleased to announce that the Swan Hills Treatment Centre is now fully operational after completing extensive repairs on our kiln facility.  We will now be accepting new shipment orders from our customers and will be able to process most types of hazardous waste including PCB’s as we work through our backlogged inventory.  Please contact one of our sales representatives for scheduling and other details.  We thank all of our customers for their patience during this extended shutdown.

March 26, 2007 - The Swan Hills Treatment Centre is pleased to announce that it now has its own weather station installed at the plant site.  This new state of the art weather station now displays current weather conditions at the Swan Hills Treatment Centre as well as weather conditions over the past 24 hours.  To help our employees and our neighbors with local weather conditions, our new weather station provides reports for temperature, wind chill, humidity, barometric pressure, wind direction and speed, rainfall and other important weather criteria.  See SHTC Weather

 

October 17, 2006 - The Swan Hills Treatment Centre is pleased to announce it has recently achieved ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification for its environmental management systems.  Click here for more information
